GLOBAL HARMONY 2014- An Multilingual Drama, Dance, Music Fest/Contest
"Art is the only language which joins the multilingual different cultural arts together which plays an important role to lead to National unity . The Folk Dance & Music have its own magic".-words by Hon . Shri Mangesh Tendulkar- renowned drama critic.
Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh in support with UNESCO organized Multilingual Drama, Dance, Music Fest/Contest from 21st May to 1st June 2014 . From all over India 1,763 programmes were conducted by 3500 artists .
Kathak Guru Keya Chanda who judged this event expressed her view -"Pune is an cultural historical capital of Maharashtra & a world-wide known cultural centre. The preservations of the treasures of Indian Music has added to the beauty of rich culture of Pune. Through the adoration of Indian Classical Dance the artists experiences the mystic trinity of Satyam-means truth, Shivam-Means the good,divine & Sundaram- means beauty."
Global Harmony 2014 was in itself a Cultural Feast which was continuously going on for 10 days in three different auditoriums which created a concrete cultural platform for artists.
In this event there were 4 age groups :-Minor-5 to8 yrs, Junior- 8 to14 yrs, Senior-14 to 22 yrs, Open- 22 & above.
Total 59 Dramas and Mono acts were performed in 10 days

All the Classical and Semi classical Dances were conducted at Jyotsana Bhole Sabhagruha and all Vocals, instrumentals, folk modern dances and drama were conducted at Tilak Smarak Mandir, Tilak Road, Pune. Total 180 Group performances were showcased in this event. The Prize distribution/Valedictory Function was conducted at Tilak Smarak Mandir in two sessions.
Pt. Shri. Sanjeev Abhyankar- Renowned Vocalist in his speech said that :-"The art binds the people together and enhance our culture. In the world of art there is no place for caste, religions. The art itself is the identity of an artist. The vigorous continuous training and practice can keep this identity intact. Hon.Shri.Keshav Bhide-Sr.vocalist & Hon.Shri. Raghunath Panshikar-known theatre artist were also present .
The prizes of vocal instrumental and Drama were distributed at this time
In the Dance drama section - Jankiyan -A dance drama by kohinoor production stood first .
In drama Section:- New Dramatic Union-Malom, Manipur, Maa Mangala Club, Sargaj- Orissa, Koraput Cultural Society-Orissa, Mangalam University - Uttar Pradesh, Nupur Dance Academy- Gujarat , Geet Vitan Kendra- Chattisgarh,Bharatnjali Dance Institute- Navsari-Gujarat were some of the groups who topped in ranks .
In Vocal /Instrumental Section:- Acharya Bhatkhande Sangeet Vidyalaya- Maharshtra, Taalswavardhan, Pune, Harmony Institute of Music, Harmony Group- Vadodara- Gujarat, Sai Sangeet Classes- Dewas- M.PSwaram Music- Surat, Assam Valley School- Tezpur-Assam were some of the groups who topped in ranks .
In the evening section for all dance section Hon. Shri .Rahul Ranade- renowned vocalist, all with the juries were present. Art of excellence award were given to the gurus and judging panels who are judging this mega event for all 10 days continously for last 10 years. Moreover other awards like- *Nrutya Gaurav Puraskar- given to Akshay Wagh- Akshay nrutya samarat * Yuva Nritya Pursakar-Pragati Bhattad, Anushka Madiwale, V. Parharini, Tanya Gambhir, Gomati Shankar, Ishika Sachdeva, Sakshi Kadam * Swarshree Purskar- Smt. Meenakshi Dusane * Nrutyashrre Purskar- Deepesh Hoskere were feliciated for their devotion in dance & music and who have their own institutes . Kala Acharya Shiromani Puraskar- Dr. Acharya V.Y Founder Bhavanlaya Institute- Karnataka , Nritya Gaurav Puraskar- Sushree Charulocahna- Sri Sudharshani Natyalaya - Hosur, Tamilnadu were felicitated for their life time achievement and noteworthy contribution in the field of Art. Total 900 prizes were distributed in the valedictory function.
