Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh's Global Council of Art & Culture, Official Partner of UNESCO in collaboration with Valladolid City Council & Casa De La India  have organised the 7th Cultural Olympiad of Performing Arts in Valladolid -Spain from 21st to 26th Nov. 2017.

This event was an promotional program of Cultural Diversity, Tourism , Exchange of Arts aimed at the students & young artists and to enhance World Peace.

This event took place in La Cupula Del Mileno in Valladolid Spain which showcased various arts form like Indian Classical & Traditional Folk Dances along with Vocal/Instrumental Music .

The Opening Ceremony took place on 23rd Nov. at 10.00 am in the The inauguration of the Cultural Olympiad, preceded by the ritual act of puja, lighting of the lamp, and a dance performance, in the presence  of Ana Redondo, Councilor for Culture and Tourism of the City Council of Valladolid; Daniel Miguel, rector of the University of Valladolid and Vice president of the House of India; Sneha Bahuguna, Second Secretary (Politics and Culture) of the Embassy of India; Guillermo Rodriguez, director of the House of India; the famous musician Madhup Mudgal; Krishnakumar Kunjappan, from Air India, and Ratna Wagh, president of Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh (ABSS),with Hemant Wagh General Secretary, who showed their gratitude and congratulations to those personalities.

 This first day also had the special presence of Venkatesh Varma, Ambassador of India in Spain, who greeted the participants.

 The artists, along with their companions and teachers, interacted with local Valladolid artists and students from professional performing arts schools as well as students and professors from the University of Valladolid. Participants from India attended a rehearsal of the OSCYL and a class at the Professional School of Dance of Castilla y León, thus entering into contact with the performing arts and various dance styles taught in Spain, to promote the exchange of young dancers from India with the artists and students of Castilla y León.

 Hon. Padmashree Darshana Jhaveri & Monica De La Fuente judged the 2 days event . 

 On 25th Nov. at 10.00 am all the 300 artists gathered at the Plaza Mayur Square where the Mr. Oscar Puente Mayor of Valladolid greeted the artists and The Chairperson Of ABSS along with the team honored the Mayor with the Typical Maharashtrian style turban.

 The Closing Ceremony took place on 25th Nov. at 3.00pm. The Galla performance were followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony . Hon. Padmashree Darshana Jhaveri, Hon. Monica De La Fuente, Hon. Juan Manuel Guimerans Rubio -Director Area Of Culture & Tourism -Valladolid and Hon. Padmashree Madhup  Mudgal honored the winners.

 The Gurus and teachers of the group who participated in this Olympiad namely- Siddhi Nrityala Mandir- Mumbai, Mharashtra ,Noopur Dance Academy- Pune, Mharasahtra,  6th Sense - Pune, Maharashtra , Sutradhar Social & Cultural Organisation- Chattisgarh Kalanand Nritya Sansth, Nalanda Bharatntyam Nritya Niketan-Maharashtra, Sri Darshini Natyalya,Kathak  Tamilnadu,Ashram -Rajasthan, Kothari International School- Delhi.
